introduction to numerology


Numerology is a vast subject which can take a lifetime to master. What I am covering here is simply a snapshot of the subject to give you a taster of what's involved.


A lot of people run and hide when they hear about Numbers and Maths but Numbers mean so much to so many different aspects of our lives .. most of which go unoticed. Without numbers we would have no time, no dates, no currency or value, no sense of quantity, no age, no maths classes and no  sudoku!  Whether we like it or not Numbers are part of our lives for good.

What most people also don't realise is the mystical properties of numbers and their significance throughout the universe.  Below are some examples to get you thinking :

The Numbers 1-9 are called "Root" numbers, for those that follow, which are called "Compound" numbers, are merely variations on these nine "Root" numbers.

Numerologists over the years have discovered that each number holds properties and energies and each is open to interpretation.  There are many books on this subject but I aim to keep this topic as brief as possible.  

The properties of Numbers can be used in our lives as a way of enhancing certain areas and realising problem areas.  Below is a brief interpretation and attribution for each of the Root numbers to help you get started :
